Kick-off Meeting

On May 29th and 30th, the Kick-off meeting for the TWIN-SAFE project took place, marking the beginning of a 36-month collaboration between the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FTTS), Hasselt University in Belgium, and Lund University in Sweden.

The primary aim of the project is to enhance the road safety research capabilities at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences through partnerships with the mentioned institutions. The overarching vision is to establish FTTS as a center of excellence in multidisciplinary road safety research, education, and innovation. The project activities will be implemented in close collaboration with the Centre of Excellence for Road Traffic Safety (CERTS) established in 2023 at FTTS.

The project is funded by the European Commission under the HORIZON Coordination and Support Actions, call HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02. The project coordinator is Asst. Prof. Dario Babić, Ph.D.
