We’re excited to continue our 𝗧𝗪𝗜𝗡-𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, sharing cutting-edge research focused on traffic safety and transport systems. This second seminar features 𝗠𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶ć from 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗭𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗯, 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, presenting on:

Mladen, an assistant at the Department of Intelligent Transportation Systems, will discuss his PhD research on adaptive traffic signal control using 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗜). His work focuses on the application of dimensionality reduction techniques and 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗥𝗟) to control signalized intersections. Additionally, the seminar will cover the concept of 𝗺𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 and the integration of connected vehicles technology with intersection control. This seminar offers a valuable opportunity to gain insights into reinforcement learning-based traffic signal control.
