TWIN-SAFE Online PhD Seminar Series – Fourth Session Recap

On Friday, December 13th, 2024, we successfully hosted the fourth session of our TWIN-SAFE online PhD seminar series, bringing together PhD students to explore innovations in traffic safety and transport systems.

This session featured Waqas Ahmed from Hasselt University, who presented his research on:

“Enhancing Road Safety through UAV-Captured Aerial Footage and Deep Learning: Object Detection, Risk Prediction, and Real-Time Analysis.”
