TWIN-SAFE Papers Presented at the 10th International Conference on Road Safety and Simulation

Members of the TWIN-SAFE consortium participated in the 10th International Conference on Road Safety and Simulation (RSS2026), held from 23–26 June 2026 in Naples, Italy.

During the conference, two papers were presented:
“Data-Driven Assessment of Distraction Behavior Among Drivers and Motorcyclists Using Smartphone-Based Naturalistic Data”
“Factors influencing the severity of run-off-road crashes in Croatia”

Both papers were developed within the framework of the TWIN-SAFE project, highlighting the collaborative work of researchers from the University of Zagreb, Hasselt University and Lund University in advancing road safety research, capacity building and knowledge exchange.
