We’re thrilled to continue our TWIN-SAFE PhD seminar series. Our upcoming seminar will feature Oksana Yastremska-Kravchenko, a final-year PhD candidate at Lund University, Department of Technology and Society, Transport and Roads Division, presenting:

“Application of video recordings in traffic studies”

Oksana’s research is about utilizing microscopic data from video recordings to analyze road user behavior, with a special focus on pedestrians and cyclists in urban settings. Her work addresses two crucial areas: Gaining deeper insights into the subtle, dynamic behaviors of road users in everyday traffic and expanding the Surrogate Measures of Safety (SMoS) approach for proactive traffic safety analysis.
